The Shack has been serving coal camp communities in Osage, WV since 1928. Its gymnasium features monthly skate parties and other family events that bring community together. Bring your dance shoes and your skates, or borrow skates from the Shack.

As you await the shuttle, explore Al Anderson's hometown with exhibits commemorating the heritage and diversity of 13 coal camp communities that fueled America in the heyday of steam until WWII. Scott's Run Museum & Trail.
We extend our thanks to The Shack for coordinating the shuttle and to the museum for extending their hours for Jamboree attendees.
The retro 1965 ballroom facility boasts a full kitchen and bar at the home of the friendly Elks. Eleven years ago it was the birthplace of Morgantown Swing, and continues to be the home of vibrant seasonal dance nights. We're thrilled to partner with the Elks to bring you an unforgettable Honky-Tonk dance party.
